In a new single that leaked on the internet on Friday, the superstar mom-of-one sings about the 20-month-old who changed her life.
Lyrics such as, ‘When you were born, the angels sighed in delight,’ and ‘Tears were shed; How we had been blessed’ leave no doubt that the song, titled God Made You Beautiful, was written for her and husband Jay Z’s beloved only child.
The ballad begins with a gospel-sounding intro that showcases the songstress’s soothing vocals, before the beat kicks in and her signature R’n’B flavour takes over.
The singer displays her vocal range and strength in the powerful ballad which is a touching tribute to her flesh and blood.
Bey, 32, sings of her devotion to her infant and reveals the depth of her love in the heartfelt lyrics.
‘You bring me back to life; You make everything right,’ she gushes. ‘I found love, I found peace of the purest kind.’
The sentimental tome includes a touching personal and very private moment with the child.
‘You were brought into my life; I kissed your little feet and watch for your perfect smile,’ she sings.
Since the ballad leaked, the 32-year-old has released the full-length official track online, giving fans a taste of what’s to come from her upcoming album, which is yet to get a confirmed release date, Daily Mail informs.
