As one of the biggest singer-songwriters of his generation, Robbie Williams is used to being mobbed by fans.
And Saturday was no different as he was greeted by a hoard of teenage girls, waiting for him to leave the Hotel Principe di Savoia, in Milan, Italy, ahead of his performance on Italian TV.
The 39-year-old star was dressed in a casual green jumper and black trousers before making his way to the studios of Che Tempo Che Fa.
Before his departure, Robbie has told The Sun exclusively that he didn’t want his wife Ayda Field to go back to work now that they have one-year-old Theodora ‘Teddy’ Rose.
Robbie told The Sun: ‘Ayda wants to go back to work, but I don’t want to her to.
‘I’m a bit caveman about it all.
‘I say “You won’t leave the cave. I don’t want you to leave the cave. I want you to stay here with me and the the supporting thing.”‘
Robbie has previously credited his wife as the reason he now stays off alcohol and drugs, and admitted that not having her around scares him.
He praised his wife for being charismatic and talented, and admits that it is for ‘selfish’ reasons that he wants her at home.
