Armenian weightlifter Zhorzh Yeghikyan (77kg) has grabbed a small bronze medal at the 2017 European Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships underway in Durres, Albania.
According to the press service of the National Olympic Committee, the Armenian athlete won the medal in the clean and jerk event, lifting 175kg. He registered a 140kg result in snatch, taking the seventh spot.
Zhorzh Yeghikyan came the 5th with a total of 315kg from both lifts.
