‘Heritage’ party fraction is against the draft bill of ‘Raising salaries of state officials’ as they believe that the MPs have not worked so well to get a raise.
Head of the fraction Zaruhi Postandjyan said: ‘I get 240.000 salary but I don’t think I work well. But teachers that educate our children get only 100.000 with a lot of work. What are we doing here?’, said she and added that salaries of ministers and employees of ministries should not be raised as well.
‘Our citizens do not feel that their lives have improved, quite the opposite. ‘It’s immoral that we wish to get higher salary. Why should Hovik Abrahamyan get a raise? How would our citizens evaluate that?’, said Postandjyan.
