Several flights in and out of the Ottawa airport were either cancelled or delayed on Thursday morning after a snowstorm hammered several southern states in the U.S.
At 9:30 a.m., 12 flights to Philadelphia, Newark, Washington and New York were cancelled. Three flights scheduled to arrive at the Ottawa airport on Thursday were also delayed.
Nine flights scheduled to leave the Ottawa airport for various U.S. destinations were cancelled, while two were delayed.
Travellers are urged to check with their carriers or visit the Ottawa airport site.
