A cruel and tragic car accident has occurred Sunday in Ararat Province of Armenia.
At around 6:30pm, a car—with driver Mkrtich Gh., 26, a resident of Oshakan village of Aragatsotn Province—went off road on the Yerevan-Yeraskhavan motorway, hit a roadside gas pipe pole, rolled for about 100 meters, and ended up in a field.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result, the driver and the passenger, Armine M., 24, sustained injuries and were hospitalized; but Artashes Ghahramanyan, 2, died on the spot.
As per the source, the child’s body was found about 25 meters from the car.
According to the source, Mkrtich Gh. is serving in the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army, the child that died was his son, and injured Armine M. is his wife.
