Three more Azerbaijani citizens have been killed in Syria, says the websites owned by mujahideen, APA reports.
The three Azerbaijanis, who fought under the Al-Nusra Front, were reportedly killed by government forces.
Mujahideen have posted their photos on the Internet.
Though the names of the two killed Azerbaijanis have not been revealed, the other’s name is reportedly Urfan. It is also reported that another brother of Urfan was killed in Afghanistan a few years ago.
As the situation became tense a large number of Azerbaijani citizens started to go Syria and fight against the government forces within various radical groups. Nearly 100 Azerbaijanis were killed in the battles during this period. Photos of most of them were posted on social networks by the Mujahideen.
