Welp, the pro-Assad Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) hackers seem to be back in action. On Thursday afternoon, they purportedly hacked CNN’s official Twitter account, blasting out anti-CIA and anti-al Qaeda messages.
Shortly before 6 p.m. ET, BoingBoing captured several now-deleted tweets that had the markings of the (SEA), complete with chants of “Long Live Syria!” and a call for CNN to “stop lying”:
