Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos said upon his arrival to the Sp to Leo Messi whom he calls “a fundamental player for Barcelona.”
“For me, yes. It is an individual trophy. I have always said that individual trophies are in part due to the collective and the work of the team, although I think he deserves it more this year because he is proving he is the best,” he answered when asked if Ronaldo deserves the award.
Asked about the injury to Barcelona’s Leo Messi, which will make him miss the rest of the year, Ramos commented that in Real Madrid they are not worried about what happens with their rivals, though he admits it is a big loss.
“We do not look at the rival, but we do not wish bad on any player. He is a fundamental player for Barcelona, we are not machines and sometimes we all go through tha,”he said.
Ramos believes that Spain can get “positive conclusions” against Equitorial Guinea and South Africa although “they are not good tirps because they are a lot of hours.”
