Real Madrid continues to extend its corporate image around the world, and the next location chosen is India in the shape of an agreement in which a big part has been played by Real Madrid veterans. Ex-players like Fernando Morientes, Fernando Hierro and Martín Vázquez have played a fundamental role in the negotiations which are about to come to fruition.
The global agreement would kick off with a number of matches played in India by the Real Madrid old boys — a side which would feature Hierro; Figo; Salgado and Morientes. Also featuring in the initial project would be a veterans’ ‘Clásico’ between Madrid and Barcelona.
Interest has also been expressed in setting up footballing schools like those already running in Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, Marca.com informs.
