Thanks to Aurora Armenia will become one of the largest humanitarian centers of the world, Prime Minister of Armenian Karen Karapetyan wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.
“One of the most important events of the year—the Aurora Prize Ceremony 2017—will take place today.
It is no coincidence that this year the ceremony is held on May 28, on the First Republic Day. This symbolized the path covered by our people and the fact that the nation subjected to Genocide only a few years later found force and will to create an independent state.
And now, 100 years later, expressing gratitude on behalf of the Armenian Genocide survivors and helping others is indeed very inspiring and proves that we are a victorious and successful nation.
I am confident that thanks to this initiative and the people who turned it into reality Armenia will become one of the largest humanitarian centers [of the world],” Karapetyan noted.
