In accordance with an arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact in the south-east direction of Kuropatkino settlement of the NKR Martuni region.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and Field Assistants Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Nepokritikh (Russia).
The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in the conduct of the monitoring and to ensure the security of the Mission members
