Hundreds of celebrities took to Twitter on Thursday to pay their respects to Nelson Mandela, including Kim Kardashian.
The reality star and her mother Kris Jenner both posted the same black and white photo of Mandela on their Instagram accounts, but with separate tributes.
Kim, 33, wrote to her followers: ‘R.I.P. Nelson Mandela…may your principles of love be the guiding light for future generations.’
Kim tweeted her message to her 18 million followers, which quickly received thousands of re-tweets and responses.
While 58-year-old Kris chose the following quote: ‘Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.’ — Nelson Mandela. #rip‘
Later, Kim enjoyed yet another night supporting her rapper fiance Kanye West on his tour.
