On any other day a celebrity photo shoot would involve red carpet dresses and large helpings of cosmetics.

But here are Kate Winslet and Scarlett Johansson posing for a magazine, without a scrap of make-up in sight.

Nor are they glamorously dressed, in fact, with each wearing a plain sweatshirt and just a simple pendant necklace as an accessory.

And the pair, who are known for their classically glamorous beauty, displayed their natural good looks as they posed bare faced for the March edition of Vanity Fair Hollywood.

Of course, 29-year-old Miss Johansson’s striking cheekbones and the full lips both actresses have in common will have made the prospect of the shoot somewhat less daunting.

And they share naturally thick eyebrows, which stand out without the need for pencil.

Both also have enviably clear skin – something Miss Johansson has in the past claimed is down to drinking ‘lots and lots of water’ and taking her make-up off at night, Daily Mail informs.
