Interview with Syuzan Margaryan.
-Mrs. Margaryan, we constantly hear that you are touring. Where are you now and what news do you have for your fans?
-I’m in Yerevan now. I’ve just finished recording my new song and it’s being finalized now. Kostantine Orbelyan and Robert Rojdenstvensky are the authors of the song, which is in Russian and is called “Remember”. The song is not new but the theme touched my heart and I’ve decided to perform it, recover and refresh.
-Why that very song?
-That song is a message for people to wake up and realize what war is. End of war, that’s the idea.
-Are you planning to have a concert?
-This year was very significant for me as it was 35th anniversary of my stage career. There were many programs about it and some are yet to come. But the concert will be at the beginning of next year.
-What plans do you have for New Year? Are you planning to celebrate it abroad?
-All my plans are after New Year. I will, probably be in Armenia and after that we will go to the States with the 70’s Yerevan orchestra, but before that we will go to Uzbekistan with few singers. Those are the plans. Let’s see which ones come true.
-One question about your personal life, if I may. There are rumors that you and Hrachya Harutyunyan are about to divorce. I would like to hear refusal or confirmation from the source.
-(Laughing) Thank God, that’s not true and it’s not even close to be true. Years ago I have heard of such rumors
as well but then they all disappeared. Thank God, everything is fine and harmonic in my family.
