Despite being a new mother yet again, Kate Winslet is still acting every inch the Hollywood star.
But the Titanic actress laughed on Monday as she recalled how she had reacted to the 4.4 magnitude earthquake that hit LA that morning, as she made a run for it with a breast pump in her hand.
Kate, 38, had traveled to Los Angeles to be awarded with her very own Hollywood star.
‘I honestly had no idea that this was going to be quite such a well attended event especially after the earthquake this morning which frightened me quite a lot actually,’ the 38-year-old actress said during her acceptance speech.
‘I made for a door frame with a breast pump in my hand,’ the Divergent star — who gave birth in December — laughed as she showed off her impressive physique during her first post-baby public appearance.
She continued, ‘So here Iam this morning at the infamous corner of Hollywood and Vine.
‘I believe that so many great young aspiring actors first stepped off a bus with the hope of embarking on a film career from this very spot that we all stand in today.
‘I feel very honored twenty years into my own career to be standing in such a poignant place and being celebrated in such a spectacular fashion.
‘Thank you very much for my star and thank you very much for having me.’
Along with her graceful speech, the mother-of-three appeared elegant in a simple black shift dress as she enjoyed her big moment in front of a crowd, Daily Mail informs.
