The hearing of the Appeals Court on the motion to change the precautionary measure enforced against Sasna Tsrer armed group member Pavlik Manukyan has kicked off.
Manukyan has been brought to the courtroom, Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent reports. He was welcomed by a crowd of people scanning “Pavlik, Pavlik!” in front of the court building.
Pavlik Manukyan faces charges under Article 219.3 (Occupation of buildings, facilities) and 235 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices.) of the Armenian Criminal Code. Manukyan and his son Aram sustained gunshot injuries during the shootout in the area of the Erebuni police station.
