George Clooney’s wedding to Amal Alamuddin looks set to be a star-studded affair. The handsome actor is most likely to choose long-time friend Brad Pitt to be his best man, a family member has confirmed.
George’s aunt Staria Clooney recently spoke about his upcoming marriage to Amal, and said she thinks the former bachelor will pick fellow A-lister Brad to be by his side on the big day.
“I would say he’d choose Brad Pitt for his best man,” she told the Daily Mail. “They are good friends, I would think that’s who he’d choose.”
That’s not all Staria, a non-denominational minister, revealed about the wedding. She suggested that the ceremony will be held in Italy in September, and said George is planning a trip there with his parents to start preparations.
“I did hear Cincinnati, since it’s not far from Kentucky (where George’s family live) – that’s one of the places they were considering – but apparently Cincinnati didn’t win, it’s not going to be the place, Hello! informs.
