The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia has summed up the results of electronic voting by Armenian citizens, who are authorized to participate in the elections from abroad.
According to CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan, 747 out of 877 registered voters took part in the elections, 97 ballots having been declared invalid.
Yelk (Way Out) bloc and Free Democrats won 53 and 6 votes respectively, Armenian Revival receiving only three votes.
Tsarukyan bloc and Congress-PPA bloc won 73 and 2 votes respectively. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) won 529 votes. At the same time, the Communist Party won 3, Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc 17, and ARF Dashnaktsutyun 25 votes.
The electronic voting for the parliamentary elections kicked off on March 24 at 8:00 am Yerevan time and ended on March 26 at 8:00 pm.
