The Plenum of the Azerbaijani Constitutional Court has today approved the results of the presidential election held on October 9.
Candidate of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ilham Aliyev won the presidential election held on October 9. He gained the most votes — 84.54 percent (3,126,113) voters.
Farhad Abdullayev read out the Constitutional Court’s decision.
The Constitution Court made the decision and approved the results reflected in the Azerbaijani CEC’s final report on the presidential election held on October 9, 2013.
According to the decision, presidential candidate Ilham Aliyev was approved as the elected president of Azerbaijan. The decision shall enter into force on the date of the announcement. It will be published in the official press and information of the Constitutional Court. This decision is final and can not be canceled, changed, and formally challenged by any body or an official.
