The Armenian parliament adopted in the second and final reading the bill on declaring an amnesty.
The amnesty that will apply to 6,500 people is to be declared in connection with the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan and 100th anniversary of Armenia’s First Republic.
Seventy-five deputies approved the bill unanimously.
