Harutyun Badalyan, 21, a participant of the four-day war in 2016, remembers with great sorrow his fellow soldiers that fell in this war in April of the year past.
The 2nd Degree Battle Cross Medal recipient spoke about the heroic deeds which he and his fellow servicemen carried out during this war.
One year after the April War, Badalyan studies at the Armenian State University of Economics, and the first-year student has his “formula” for the independence and security of the motherland.
“We should always be united and consolidated, as it was during the April War,” he said.
On April 2, 2016 at 3։30am, the Azerbaijani armed forces disregarded the 1994 ceasefire agreement and attacked in several directions of their line of contact with the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) forces. The Karabakh servicemen fought long and fierce battles against the adversary for several days, but they suffered 110 casualties and 121 injuries.
