Eminem’s childhood home in Detroit has been put up for sale.
The house, which has now become part of hip-hop history, was even featured on the cover of 2000’s Marshall Mathers LP.
But the rapper, who used to live at 19946 Dresden St, just south of 8 Mile Road, apparently has not forgotten where he comes from.
Eminem revealed at the weekend that the house will also be on the cover of forthcoming Marshall Mathers LP 2.
The 767-square-foot building with one bathroom, however doesn’t belong to the rapper, and is now up for auction through the Michigan Land Bank.
The house which is currently empty and boarded-up, is currently going for a minimum bid of $1,
according to the Detroit Free Press and reported in the Huffington Post.
