President of Yerevan Press Club, Boris Navasardyan, says the official justifications never give the full picture when major events take place in Armenia.
“But there were various reasons for the changes, starting from the grave situation of the economy to the repayment of our debts for Russian gas, Karen Karapetyan, unlike his predecessor, is both a better manager and enjoys a greater confidence in Russia,” he said.
Russia is interested in the appointment of Karen Karapetyan [as Prime Minister of Armenia] and will try to make some donations to strengthen his position in the Armenian government,” he added.
