The MFA board sitting of CIS countries is to be held in Moscow. The leaders of the foreign political departments of Armenia and Russia Edvard Nalbandyan and Sergey Lavrov are to meet.
The MFA Board sitting of CIS countries is to be held in connection with the situation in Karabakh.
The agenda is to cover 10 issues that relate to the key directions of cooperation activities. The draft documents as a result of the meeting will be submitted to the Board of the Leaders of CIS State and Government for consideration.
As informed earlier the leaders of the foreign political departments will objectively talk about the prospects of expansion of the multifaceted activity of CIS countries, they will exchange with opinions around the urgent topics of international politics, they will get acquainted with the information regarding the implementation of the plan of interdepartmental consultation within the CIS as of the year 2015 and will approve a respective plan for the year 2016.
“Within the context of 25-anniversary of cooperation, the ministers will also discuss the further enhancement of efficiency of CIS, a special attention will be paid to the humanitarian sphere, the reinforcement of cooperation in the law machinery sphere”, according to the diplomatic department.
A separate item of the agenda concerned the issue regarding the basic organizations of the CIS member states in the sphere of youth policy and armed forces cooperation.
