Three Red Cross workers and a volunteer with the Syrian Red Crescent who were kidnapped in Syria have been released, a spokesman said today. The fate of another three hostages remained unknown.
Ewan Watson, of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), declined to reveal the nationality of those who had been freed. Most of the hostages are believed to have been Syrian, Middle East Times informs.
