Prosecutors in the US have charged The Shield actor Michael Jace with murder after his wife was shot and killed at their home in Los Angeles.
The 51-year-old, who played a police officer in the hit TV series could face between 50 years and life in state prison if convicted.
Police said Mr Jace shot April Jace, 40, multiple times on Monday. He was at the house when officers arrived.
The couple’s two young sons were at home at the time of the killing.
They are now with relatives, police have said.
Jace is being held in lieu of $2m (£1.2m) bail and is set to appear in court on Thursday for the first time, BBC informs.
