For Sarah Michelle Gellar, there’s a downside to acting alongside Robin Williams on The Crazy Ones: her struggle to keep a straight face. “It’s like when my 4-year-old daughter says something inappropriate, but I can’t laugh,” says the mom to Charlotte and 12-month-old son Rocky (with husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.).
Sharing such lighthearted moments on set of the CBS comedy, on which Gellar and Williams appear as father-daughter partners in a Chicago advertising firm, helped the costars form an intense bond. Jokes Gellar: “I applied for Robin to adopt me!”
