Putting forth the candidacy of Gevorg Kostanyan, Serzh Sargsyan made it clear that he will be the descendant of Aghvan Hovsepyan, moreover, taking into consideration the arrangement of NA political forces, one can say that he will be the continuer of Aghvan Hovsepyan’s holy work style and the proof of it was the case of Surik Khachatryan and his son.
However, it turns out that there can be unexpected changes in the Armenian political field, and the changes will be from the opposition rather than the authorities.
The notion that parliamentarian opposition cannot do anything neither in this issue nor in any other, is now news, but the fact that the opposition which has the status of a British queen, can be kind and forgiving, was something new.
Head of ANC (Armenian National Congress) fraction Levon Zurabyan said after meeting with Gevorg Kostanyan that every person needs to be given a chance.
“We wish to give a chance to any person and we do so with Gevorg Kostanyan”.
Surely, Zurabyan is not the one to give that chance to Kostanyan but it has been granted by Serzh Sargsyan, and in Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is the one to blame even for “spider bite”.
We are not disputing the fairness of this notion, but it is not comprehensible how Zurabyan agreed to posting a bigger insect on such responsible position, taking into consideration the latest acts.
Anyway, Gevorg Kosyanyan is very likely to be the next General Prosecutor. However, hopefully the opposition will vote “against”, ignoring the innocence and pureness of Zurabyan.
