They say the dismissal of now former Defense Minister of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, has quite deep roots, according to Irates newspaper.
“Actually, this was the last ‘episode’ in the President [Serzh Sargsyan]-defense minister conflict.
“They also say that, after the war in April[, which Azerbaijan had unleashed], the defense minister openly expressed disagreement with this or that action by the President.
“And the statements about [Ohanyan] turning down [the offer for assuming] the office of CSTO [i.e. Collective Security Treaty Organization] Secretary General have put an end to the Serzh Sargsyan-Seyran Ohanyan tandem.
“Nonetheless, the latter definitely will not remain without a job. They say, in the future, the former minister will enter the political arena with a ‘[chess] knight’s move,’’ wrote Irates.
