The heart can be a lonely hunter especially one is dateless on Valentine’s Day.
At least Marc Anthony had an adoring audience tuning in as he took to the stage on Friday in Newark, New Jersey.
Marc, 45 gave them a one-man show to remember while fashionably attired in an all-black suit and dressy black shirt.
The salsa singer added an air of mystery by slipping on a pair of dark shades during part of his set at the Prudential Centre.
He danced and grooved to the beat of the music while obviously feeling the passion behind the lyrics.
Anthony has made it his Valentine’s Day tradition to play the East Coast, and on Saturday will perform at Barclays Centre in his hometown Brooklyn, New York.
Marc was apparently solo this year after he and his 22-year-old girlfriend Chloe reportedly broke off their year-long relationship due to their divergent careers.
‘They are taking a break,’ an insider told Us Weekly. ‘It is because of busy schedules.’
‘They’ve taken breaks before, but this time it seems they’re over for good,’ a source told Life & Style.
