YEREVAN. – The recent events in Karabakh conflict confirm that there can be no military solution, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in Yerevan.
Russian official expressed condolences to the families of the killed and called for exclusively political and diplomatic solution to the conflict.
Lavrov added that implementation of the 1994 and 1995 agreements is a priority today and have to be respected by all parties.
“Russia, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, will do everything to help the parties. At this stage, implementation of security measures and introduction of a mechanism to investigate the incidents that was submitted in 2011 and was elaborated by OSCE is important,” he added.
