STEPANAKERT. — The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) Thursday published an interim public report on the atrocities committed by Azerbaijani military forces against the civilian population of the NKR and the servicemen of the NKR Defense Army on 2-5 April 2016.
The report was sent Friday to a number of international human rights organizations, specifically, the UN and Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioners, UN Special Rapporteur on Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman and Degrading Treatment or Punishment, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), European Ombudsman Institute, International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), etc. It was also delivered to Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Association for the Prevention of Torture and a number of other authoritative international human rights organizations.
