STEPANAKERT. – The operational situation along the Karabakh-Azerbaijan armed confrontation zone has remained unchanged, from late Thursday night to early Friday morning.
The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time the adversary violated the ceasefire agreement around 70 times along the entire frontline, and by way of rifle weaponry.
Also, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired from a grenade launcher, in a southeasterly (Hadrut) direction, and from an anti-aircraft autocannon, in a northeasterly direction of the armed confrontation zone.
“[But] vanguard units of the [NKR] DA [i.e. Defense Army] are in command of the operational and tactical situation, and they continue confidently conducting their military watch,” the respective statement reads.
