When the talk show host asked Michael how things were going with Catherine, the Oscar winner replied:
‘Good I hope. I’ve been away for a while but everything should hopefully be on the up and up,’ he said.
A representative for the pair — who have been married 13 years — told MailOnline in August that Catherine and Michael were taking time apart to ‘evaluate and work on their marriage.’
Michael said during the interview that their separation doesn’t signal that things that over for good.
