Today Ilham Aliyev who won the Presidential Elections on 9 October was put under oath of Azerbaijan President for the third time.
At the inauguration ceremony he took an oath to observe the Constitution of Azerbaijan, defend independence and territorial integrity of the country and to serve the people with honour. Ilham Aliyev also committed himself to remain loyal to national and moral values kept by Azerbaijani people during many centuries and always to follow them.
Inauguration became possible after Constitutional Court confirmed the results of the Presidential Elections where Ilham Aliyev won 84.54% of recorded votes or 3,126,113 people, ABC.AZ informs.
