President Miloš Zeman of the Czech Republic on Wednesday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, and placed flowers in memory of the genocide victims.
Zeman was accompanied by Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Within the framework of his visit to Armenia, the Czech President is scheduled to meet with the top officials of the country.
In addition, several documents are expected to be signed.
Also, the presidents of Armenia and the Czech Republic will be on hand at the official opening of the Armenian-Czech business forum in Yerevan.
