YEREVAN. – From late Monday night to early Tuesday morning, the Azerbaijani side fired irregular shots sixteen times at the Armenian position-holders in the northeastern sector—i.e. Tavush Province of Armenia—of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
During this time Azerbaijan used rifle, including large-caliber, weaponry.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the vanguard units of the Armenia armed forces, however, exercised restraint, took actions in response solely when absolutely necessary, and they confidently control the situation along the aforesaid border.
