Armenia never used weapons of mass destruction against Azerbaijan, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told reporters on Monday as he refused Azerbaijani media reports.
“It is Azerbaijan that must first of all be responsible for its terror crimes. The Armenian side did its best for Azerbaijani civilians not to come under fire. Azerbaijan is telling lies,” he said.
As regards the Russian weapons supplied to Armenia as a US $200m loan, Mr Ohanyan said:
“We are working, and some of the contacts have been signed. We have established cooperation and we try to deliver the weapons to Armenia as soon as possible.”
