About 130 newly created high-tech companies have applied to the government of Armenia for tax privileges. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this in a Facebook post.
“About 800 highly-paid jobs—with an average [monthly] salary of $1,000—will be created by 2022, at the 89 companies that have received [tax] privileges to this day,” he added. “About 20% of the companies were founded by [Armenian] repatriates who have returned to live and work [in Armenia] from the USA, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, France, Finland, Austria, Georgia and Malta.”
