The nuclear power plant of Armenia will be disconnected from the energy production grid of the country, as of Tuesday at 12am, to carry out regular repairs and refueling.
In addition, some repair works will be carried out to extend the lifetime of its operating power unit, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Considering this fact, the suspension of operations at the nuclear plant will last longer this year.
According to the schedule, the power unit will be reconnected to the energy grid of Armenia on November 20.
