The Armenian government approved a draft law on raising the minimum salaries from 55,000 drams to 68,000 drams in a meeting on Thursday.
The amendments will apply to a total of 45,000 private sector employees and 35,000 public sector employees.
The new measure does not cover the base wages of the Armenian government officials.
The bill is yet to be debated and passed by the Armenian parliament.
