Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Tuesday received the Riksdag delegation of Sweden led by the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Kenneth Forslund.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations, Artak Zakaryan.
The interlocutors stressed the role of the parliaments of the two countries in the strengthening and expansion of relations between Armenia and Sweden.
Reference was also made to the talks round the new Armenia-EU Framework Agreement.
FM Nalbandian, for his part, briefed the guests on the efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group towards advancing the peaceful settlement process of the Karabakh conflict.
Upon the request of the delegation, Nalbandian also presented the priorities of the foreign policy of Armenia.
Apart from this, the interlocutors referred to the pressing issues on the regional and international agenda.
