British-Armenian diplomat Alan Gogbashian has been appointed new Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yerevan, the British government’s official website said in a statement on Monday.
“Mr Alan Gogbashian has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia in succession to Ms Judith Farnworth who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Gogbashian will take up his appointment during September 2019,” the statement read.
