The 86th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, are set to take place on March 2, and actress Angelina Jolie has already been pictured rehearsing for the big day.
On Thursday, the 38-year-old Oscar winner, who was honoured with the film academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian award last year, was present at the Dolby Theater.
The Hollywood megastar ran through the lines she’ll say in front of millions as she practiced presenting an award to an as yet undisclosed recipient.
Afterwards, she hung around chatting to show producers and introduced herself as ‘Angie’ to a group of college students serving as trophy carriers this year, Daily Mail informs.
‘You’ll help make the night a fun night,’ she said warmly to the star-struck students. One told her, ‘You were great out there.’
But it seems the smooth-talking Hollywood megastar was suffering from a little nerves as she worried about the heels she will wear on the day.
Angelina arrived at rehearsals wearing the same silver peep-toe heels she will wear on the big day, to practise walking in them.
She teamed the designer shoes with a simple sweater and capri pants and said ‘I didn’t fall,’ after delivering her lines.
She added: ‘After you’ve done this a few times, you learn to wear the shoes you’re going to present in.’
