YEREVAN. — In the fist quarter of this year, 25 persons have applied for asylum in Armenia.
According to the website of the Armenian State Migration Service, 15 out of 25 of them have come to Armenia from Syria. The rest included one person from Bahrain, Turkey, Iraq and Cameroon each, as well three persons from Iran and Ukraine each. Five of them are minors.
It’s yet unclear whether the applications of these persons have been confirmed or not.
