Seventeen earthquakes measuring 1.4 magnitudes shook northern Armenia from 11:03am until 01:24 pm local time (GMT 7:03am-9:24am) on Friday.
The jolts were registered 16km south-west off the city Gavar (Gegharkunik region). The hypocenter depth is reported to be 10km.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the underground jolts measured 1-2 points at the epicenter.
