Zaruhi Postandjyan’s question to Serzh Sargsyan at PACE raised concerns among both the authorities and the opposition. Members of her party gave uncertain opinions and some even accused her of making agreement with the authorities. Surely, there were no strong arguments about any agreement.
Informational blockade would have been more preferable for the authorities, which they are realising sometimes. However, taking into consideration the fact the PACE assembly was broadcasted live, active sharing of information in social networks, as well as the fact that the information could have been closed only at that moment and then it would have reached to Armenian audience by a second channel, media experts decided to go with the flow.
The entire media field became busy condemning and extolling such information. The purpose was to leave all other questions asked that day in shadow, which, by the way, were concerning the most important issues at this moment: Customs Union, NKR issue etc… Due to a nicely realized media manipulation Tigran Sargsyan’s announcement about not having an agreement with gas price, was also shadowed.
So, Zaruhi Postandjyan diverted public’s attention from other, more important questions.
