Do you think Putin wants Armenia to win over Azerbaijan? No! That would make Armenia more powerful and independent. Or do you think Moscow wants Baku to win over Yerevan? No! They do not want anyone to win. Conflict is their main objective, as it disturbs the Independence of the nations and blocks their membership to EU”, said Saakashvili.
He also noted that “The notion of Eurasia Union was created by Vladimir Putin as an alternative to EU and was the main program of his presidential campaign”.
“The Eurasia Union is based on principles that contradict the EU principles. It is fed by intolerance and is operated by former agents of KGB, and it’s main purpose is to eliminate the old empire. It’s easy to become a colony. The only demand is passiveness and mediocrity”, said Saakashvili.
