Argentina World Cup legend Diego Maradona will offer analysis on the 2014 World Cup for left-wing Venezuelan TV station Telesur.
“It will be political football,” Maradona said. “That’s what I like. I’ve just signed the most exciting contract of my career.”
Telesur aren’t showing matches live. Instead Maradona will appear on a daily review show. It’s a huge coup for the station.
